In this course we will explore the basics of Computer Aided Drafting which includes, Geometric drawings, Multiview drawings, Pictorial Drawings, Basic Dimensioning and Basic 3D drawing.

You will build on the concepts learned in Drafting 10. We will cover topics including auxiliary views, advanced dimensioning and floor plans.

In this course we will Expand on our understanding of Architectural Drawing by looking at Wall Sections, Elevations, Presentation Floor Plans and Presentation Elevations. We will also Explore 3-D CAD through the use of Google Sketch-up and Possibly Rhinoceros.

The areas covered in this course are relevant to high school students and cover issues and topics they will encounter in the future. Whether in post-secondary or further in the future, students will need the knowledge and skills presented in this course to be financially literate.
